The Lindbergh Flyers girls' volleyball team secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Northwest Lions.
The match was a back-and-forth battle, with both teams trading sets throughout the night. Lindbergh started strong, winning the first set 25-11. However, the Lions responded with a close 25-23 win in the second set. The Flyers regained momentum in the third set, winning 25-17, but the Lions fought back to take the fourth set by the same score.
The deciding fifth set belonged to the Flyers, who dominated 15-5 to clinch the victory.
With the win, the Flyers will now travel to Oakville High School to face the Tigers on Tuesday, October 15th at 5:45 PM.
