The Lindbergh Flyers girls' volleyball team is prepared to take on the MSHSAA Class 5 District 1 Tournament, which will be held from October 22nd to 29th at Cor Jesu Academy.

The Flyers enter the tournament as the sixth seed and will face the tournament hosts, the Cor Jesu Chargers, in their opening match on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6 PM. A victory in that matchup would advance the Flyers to the semifinals, where they would face either the second-seeded Ursuline Bears or the seventh-seeded Oakville Tigers.

The top-seeded Jackson Indians will await the winner of the eighth-seeded Fox Warriors and the ninth-seeded Mehlville Panthers. In the other half of the bracket, the fourth-seeded Nerinx Hall Markers will take on the fifth-seeded Seckman Jaguars.

The semifinals are scheduled for Monday, October 28th at 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM, with the district championship game set for Tuesday, October 29th at 4:30 PM.

The Flyers will be looking to make a deep run in the tournament and secure a spot in the state championship.
