Flyers Earn Multiple Honors as Suburban All-Conference Teams Are Announced
The Suburban Conference has released its 2025-26 All-Conference selections, and the Lindbergh Flyers boys and girls basketball programs were well represented with multiple athletes earning recognition for their outstanding seasons on the court.
Boys Basketball All-Conference Selections
The Flyers boys basketball program placed three players on the All-Conference teams, including two First Team selections.

Sportsmanship Award
Seliga led the Flyers offensively throughout the season and finished as the team's leading scorer. The senior guard scored 437 points in 29 games (15.1 PPG) while shooting 41.6% from the field and 76.6% from the free-throw line. Seliga also filled the stat sheet defensively and as a facilitator with 112 rebounds, 83 assists, and 41 steals.
Hessler provided consistent scoring and efficiency for the Flyers. The senior guard totaled 372 points (13.3 PPG) and shot an impressive 52.2% from the field, while also contributing 132 rebounds, 52 assists, and 32 steals on the defensive end.
Amad earned Second Team All-Conference honors after posting 356 points (12.3 PPG) while knocking down 58 three-pointers and shooting 36% from beyond the arc. Amad also added 76 rebounds, 53 assists, and 33 steals during the season.
Eller was recognized with the Suburban Conference Sportsmanship Award. The senior forward was also a key contributor on the court, finishing the season with 115 rebounds (4.3 RPG) while shooting 53.4% from the field and providing a physical defensive presence.

The girls basketball team also had a strong presence on the conference list, earning four All-Conference recognitions.

Sportsmanship Award
Abercrombie led the Flyers offensively and earned First Team All-Conference honors after scoring 332 points in 26 games (12.8 PPG). The standout guard connected on 49 three-pointers and added 68 rebounds, 37 assists, and 40 steals during the season.
Heggemeier earned Second Team recognition following a dominant season inside for the Flyers. She scored 273 points (10.5 PPG) while shooting 42.1% from the field. Heggemeier was also a force on the glass, totaling an impressive 297 rebounds (11.4 RPG) to lead the team.
Hanson and Mullins both earned Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition for their contributions.
Hanson scored 148 points (5.7 PPG) while contributing across the stat sheet with 67 rebounds, 89 assists, and 65 steals, showcasing her all-around impact on both ends of the floor.
Mullins finished the season with 151 points (5.8 PPG) and added 58 rebounds, 33 assists, and 31 steals, providing strong guard play and defensive effort throughout the season.
A Strong Season for the Flyers
The All-Conference selections highlight the depth and leadership within both Lindbergh programs this season. With seniors leading the way on both teams, the Flyers continued to compete at a high level in one of the area's toughest conferences.
