Lindbergh High School Athletics

In an effort to build a successful athletics program at Lindbergh High School, the district will recognize one (1) feeder program for each corresponding LHS Athletics program. A district-recognized feeder program should connect its participants with the high school’s student-athletes, coaches and community, while instilling a sense of pride in Lindbergh High School and LHS Athletics.

The feeder program must be approved by high school administration before receiving Group B facility use classification. Additional requirement for district-recognized feeder programs include:

• Involvement by the corresponding high school program's head coach. This individual should serve as a feeder program liaison, while maintaining responsibility for the feeder program’s activity account. This account will follow all district purchasing policies and procedures.
   
• A roster comprised of currently enrolled Lindbergh students.
  • Middle school students should plan to participate in LHS Athletics.
     
• Giving back to LHS Athletics through volunteer hours, financial contributions or in-kind donations.

District-recognized feeder programs are exempt from facility use fees for practices, and receive a 50 percent discount in fees for games in which the feeder program participates.
