Saturday, November 19th, St. Clair High School

The girls went into St. Clair and battled their way to a tournament title on Saturday. The girls won 20 of their 28 matches throughout the tournament with 19 falls and had three girls finish with individual titles (Jordan Datus, Leila Hobson, and Ellie Poulette) while two girls finished runner-up (Josephine Crowley and Elizabeth Williams). The Flyers accumulated 94 team points to take home the team title, outscoring St. Clair (83), North Point (70), Hillsboro (60), Kirksville (52), and Hancock (18). Coach Jones picked up his first tournament championship in his debut as a head coach. The girls look to continue rolling through their opponents on Tuesday at 5:00 PM as they head to Festus High School to compete in the Festus Scramble against Nixa, Seckman, Timberland, Herculaneum, Sikeston, Jackson, and Festus.
