Varsity field hockey had a tough season to follow from last year. "We played the hardest schedule this team has ever encountered," Coach Shipp stated. They were scheduled to play some of the hardest teams in the area. The girls made it to the sweet 16 for the second year in a row, which has never been done before. Coach Shipp said that one of the reasons they were able to make it this far is because, "This team seemed to come together and wanted to be around each other." Their final record came out to be eight wins, ten losses, and one tie. "The overall takeaway is that it wasn't the same season as last year, we had a much more disciplined schedule and we rose to the occasion," said Coach Shipp.
