The Lindbergh Flyers girls' volleyball team staged a remarkable comeback to defeat the Oakville Tigers 3-2 in their Tuesday night matchup.
After dropping the first two sets, the Flyers surged back to win the next three sets and secure a victory over the Tigers. The set scores were 21-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21, and 15-12.
With this win, the Flyers bring their record back to .500 at 13-13. They have two more matches before the district championship tournament begins on Wednesday, October 23rd. Their next matchup against Cor Jesu will serve as a preview of their potential district quarterfinal matchup. The Flyers host the Chargers on Thursday, October 17th at 5:45 PM in Flyers Gym.
