Lindbergh Flyers Girls Lacrosse Dominates Hazelwood West Wildcats (16-2)

The Lindbergh Flyers girls lacrosse team cruised to a decisive victory over the Hazelwood West Wildcats on Wednesday, winning by a score of 16-2. This impressive win showcased the Flyers' offensive firepower and defensive dominance.

A Barrage of Goals:

The Flyers put on an offensive clinic, peppering the Wildcats' net with a total of 16 goals. A diverse group of players contributed to the scoring spree, with 12 different Flyers finding the back of the net.

Individual Performances:

• Lexie Peterson, Izzy Yarbrough (first varsity goal), Ava Kientzy, Lydia Krob (2 goals), Addie Rohrbach, Genna Wors, Mariah Jackson (first varsity goal), Piper Wilmot, Finnley Placke (3 goals), Belle Daniels (first varsity goal), Bella Adams (first varsity goal), and Angie Fialka (2 goals) all contributed to the Flyers' offensive onslaught.

Solid Goal Tending:

Darby Sindel stood tall in the Flyers' net, making 4 saves and allowing only 2 goals. Her strong performance secured the win for Lindbergh.

With this victory, the Flyers continue their momentum heading into their next game against Ursuline Academy on Thursday, May 2nd at 4:00 PM at Lindbergh High School. They will then close out their regular season on May 7th with a game against Fox High School at 4:15 PM. After their final regular season matchup, the Flyers will eagerly await their seeding for the St. Louis Girls Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
