Lindbergh Flyers Claw Back After Early Stumble to Upend Oakville Tigers in District Semis
In a thrilling display of resilience, the #1 seed Lindbergh Flyers boys volleyball team edged out the #4 Oakville Tigers in a four-set nail-biter (25-22, 23-25, 25-19, 26-24) to advance to the District Championship game. The match, held at Oakville High School, saw the Flyers overcome a mid-game hurdle to secure their spot in the finals.
The first set was a close affair, with Lindbergh emerging victorious 25-22. However, the Tigers roared back in the second set, capitalizing on Flyers' miscues to claim a narrow 25-23 win.

The fourth set was a tense back-and-forth battle. Tied at 24-24, the Flyers dug deep and secured two crucial points to snatch victory 26-24.
With this hard-fought win, the #1 seed Lindbergh sets their sights on the District Championship trophy. They will return to Oakville High School on Friday, May 10th, at 5:00 pm to face their opponent, #3 Mehlville Panthers.
