The Lindbergh Flyers varsity field hockey team opened their season with a resounding 4-0 victory over the Parkway South Patriots on Wednesday, September 4th.
The Flyers' offensive attack was led by Katy Hayes, who scored two goals in the game. Anya Piasecki and Ava Kientzy also contributed with goals of their own. On the defensive end, Eloise Schlotte and Ava Coats combined for a shutout, keeping the Patriots scoreless.
The victory sets the tone for the Flyers' season, as they look to build upon this strong start. Their next game will be on Monday, September 9th, when they host the Parkway Central Colts at 4:00 PM on Flyers Field.
