The Lindbergh Flyers boys' soccer team continued their impressive form with a decisive 6-0 win over the CBC Cadets in their home opener on Thursday, September 4th.
The Flyers' offensive firepower was on full display, as five different players found the back of the net. Nick Tallevast led the scoring with two goals, while Hassan Al-Maliki, John Eckrich, Carter Heavey, and Noel Valazquez also contributed with a goal a piece. Assists came from Jackson Allen, John Eckrich, Carter Heavey, and Ado Keranovic.
Carter Greun earned the win in goal for the Flyers, securing a clean sheet and showcasing his defensive prowess, accumulating 3 saves.
The victory solidifies the Flyers' position as a top contender in the state once again and sets them up for another successful season coming off a 4-0 start.
The next game for the Flyers is Tuesday, September 10th at 7:00 pm, here at Lindbergh High School on Flyers Field.
