Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band Finishes an Incredible Fall Season 

The Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. David Wyss, wrapped up an outstanding 2025 fall season filled with energy, precision, and pride. The band once again represented Lindbergh High School with excellence, earning top honors across the region and performing on some of the biggest stages in the Midwest.

The season included a statement performance at the Metro East Marching Competition, where the Spirit of St. Louis took 1st place overall and earned Top Music and Top Effect awards. The band also competed at the Bands of America Iowa Regional, finishing 12th overall and earning a spot as a Finalist Band among some of the top programs in the Midwest. The Flyers continued their strong showing with another 1st place finish at the River City Showcase, once again taking home Top Music and Top Effect honors.

The season culminated at the Bands of America St. Louis Super Regional, one of the most prestigious events in the Midwest, where they proudly placed 17th overall — an incredible accomplishment against national-level competition.

Beyond the scores and placements, the Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band supported many activities and sports programs, brought school spirit to events, displayed the heart, dedication, and teamwork that define Lindbergh pride. Each performance showcased their passion for excellence and their commitment to representing the school and community with class.
