Girls Basketball Captures Southside Classic Championship with 3–0 Tournament Run
The Girls Basketball team added to an incredible week for Flyers hoops by winning the Southside Classic Championship last night, finishing the tournament with a perfect 3–0 record and improving to 3–1 on the season.
After opening the year with a tough road test at Marquette on Nov. 25, the Flyers rebounded in impressive fashion during tournament play at Oakville. On December 3, Lindbergh set the tone with a dominant 58–4 victory over Affton, showcasing relentless defense and balanced scoring. The Flyers followed that performance with a strong 49–36 win over Fox on December 4, continuing their momentum with disciplined team play.
In the championship game last night, Lindbergh completed the sweep with a hard-fought 39–32 victory over Oakville, locking down defensively in the final minutes to secure the Southside Classic title.
