The Lindbergh Flyers secured a dominant 31-13 victory over the Fox Warriors in their Friday night matchup.
The Flyers opened the game with a strong drive, highlighted by a 58-yard touchdown run from Sam Estrada and a two-point conversion from Connor Lanham. While the Warriors responded with a touchdown, the Flyers quickly regained momentum, driving 59 yards in 16 plays before Connor Lanham scored from 6 yards out.
The Flyers continued to control the game, forcing a quick three-and-out from the Warriors and taking advantage with a 26-yard field goal from Jackson Bailey to extend their lead at halftime.
The Flyers' defense shut down the Fox offense in the second half, not allowing another score and forcing a turnover. Meanwhile, the Flyers added two more field goals from Jackson Bailey to further solidify their lead.
Sam Estrada was a standout performer for the Flyers, rushing for 172 yards and two touchdowns while completing seven passes for 114 yards. The Flyers' defense was also impressive, limiting the Warriors' offensive production.
With the victory, the Flyers improve to 6-1, their best record through seven weeks since the 2021 season. They will now prepare for their senior night game against the Lafayette Lancers, a highly anticipated matchup between two teams with identical 6-1 records.
