Michael Politte hit two home runs and drove in six as Lindbergh defeated Webster Groves 9-0 on Tuesday. Politte homered in the seventh and first innings.

Austin Jones, Adler Crask, and Jack Politte at the bottom of the Flyers' lineup combined for five of the team's eight hits in their victory. They scored two runs and drove in two. Lindbergh opened the scoring in the first after Politte homered to left field, scoring two runs.

The Flyers added seven more runs in the top of the seventh inning on six hits. Jones singled, scoring one run, Politte hit a grand slam to center field, Jack Stockmann singled, scoring one run, and Crask singled, scoring one run.

Eli Woodall earned the win for Lindbergh. They allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out three and walking nine. Chris Wilhelm took the loss for Webster Groves. The starting pitcher went six innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out six and walking three. Simon Poole tossed three innings of no-run ball for the Flyers in relief. They allowed zero hits, striking out four and walking one.

Politte, Jones, and Crask each collected two hits for the Flyers. Politte stole two bases.

Lindbergh will welcome the Mehlville Panthers on Thursday for their next game.
