The girl's junior varsity basketball team started off their season strong against the Cor Jesus Chargers. They came back after being tied at half. They ended the game with a score of 35-20. Freshman Karlee Gororo and Kirsten Gororo were a huge part of the success against the Chargers. The chemistry between the twins is unmatched. The passing between the two made some incredible plays throughout the game. They aren't the only two who stood out in that game. Sophomore Lucy Colombo is one of their posts. She came in the game after Meghan Vasel got hurt in the first quarter. It was her chance to show the fans what she was made of. She came out with strong post moves. Along with them, sophomore Rachel Brannham is a point guard and she stood out with her leadership skills as captain and with her ball handling. This JV team is strong and has a good bond. They all play really well together especially with the newer JV coach Andrew Althage who has brought a new energy to the team. Lindbergh is looking at what JV girls basketball will do this season.
