The Lindbergh Flyers softball team concluded their regular season with a resounding 6-0 victory over the Notre Dame Rebels.
Freshman third baseman Charlotte Kupferle led the offensive charge with a three-hit performance that included a second inning home run.
Marlee Steiner and Sarah Studer combined for a shutout on the mound. Steiner allowed two hits with seven strikeouts and a walk in four innings, while Studer pitched three innings of scoreless relief, allowing two hits and striking out three batters.
With the win, the Flyers finish the regular season with a 17-9 record and are now set to host the Kirkwood Pioneers in the district quarterfinal tournament on Thursday, October 17th.
