Flyers Sputter Against Jaguars

Lindbergh could not keep pace with Seckman on Monday, falling 6-2.

Seckman opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two singles. Seckman first got on the board when Brady Vessells singled, scoring one run. Seckman added one run in the second after Ryan Bradford hit a sacrifice fly.

Kayden Kohlberg earned the win for Seckman. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking two. Luke Steiner took the loss for the Flyers. The starting pitcher went four and one-third innings, allowing six runs on eight hits, striking out one and walking three.

Michael Politte and Luke Seiler were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Lindbergh. Seiler led the Flyers with three hits in four at bats. Lane Elder collected two hits for Lindbergh in three at bats. The Flyers turned one double play in the game. Lindbergh weas sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Jack Stockmann had the most chances in the field with five.

Kody Brown went 3-for-3 at the plate as they led the team with three runs batted in. Brady Vessells collected two hits for Seckman in three at bats. Seckman turned one double play in the game. Seckman didn't commit a single error in the field.

Lindbergh will travel to Webster Groves for their next game tomorrow. First pitch at 4:30 pm.
