Lane Elder had a huge game at the plate as the Flyers jumped on Mehlville early and then cruised to their 10th victory on their home field.

Elder went 3-for-3 with two triples and a HBP as his bat remains hot. The junior catcher continues to shine offensively at the start of the season. Luke Seiler was also 2-for-4 with a double batting in the two hole.

Isaac Langley had a great outing, going 5 innings and allowing one run on only three hits to earn the win. Max Power came on in relief, and despite the defense behind him having some trouble, he throw a solid two innings to finish off the Panthers.

The Flyers will look to continue their winning ways at home as they set to host the Northwest Lions Friday afternoon. The Flyers already have two wins against the Lions this season, both coming during the Lindbergh/Mehlville Tournament. First pitch is at 4:30 PM at Lindbergh High School.
