Lindbergh High School Gears Up to Host MSHSAA Class 6 District 1 Championship!
Get ready for high-stakes baseball action as Lindbergh High School plays host to the MSHSAA Class 6 District 1 Championship, kicking off on Wednesday, May 15th, and culminating in the championship game on Saturday, May 18th.
Flyers Take Flight as Hosts:
The Lindbergh Flyers, seeded fourth in the tournament, will have the home-field advantage and the passionate support of their fans as they battle for district supremacy. Their opening challenge comes against the fifth-seeded Fox Warriors in a Wednesday afternoon matchup at 4:00 PM.
Opening Round Matchups Set the Stage:
The other opening-round games will take place concurrently across the district:
- #1 Jackson Indians vs. #8 Northwest Lions (Jackson High School)
- #2 Oakville Tigers vs. #7 Mehlville Panthers (Oakville High School)
- #3 Seckman Jaguars vs. #6 Poplar Bluff Mules (Seckman High School)
Road to the Championship
The winners from each first-round matchup will advance to the semifinals, which will be played at Lindbergh High School on Thursday, May 16th. The first semifinal is scheduled for 1:00 PM, followed by the second at 4:00 PM. The victors from those games will then clash in the highly anticipated championship game, set for Saturday, May 18th, at 11:00 AM at Lindbergh High School.
