Our Flyers Softball team did not pull any punches on Monday against the Panthers of Mehlville High School.
The Flyers came out and scored 20 runs on 10 hits in just two innings. They were able to put up 11 runs in the first inning followed by 9 in the second inning.
Gabby McBride shined in her three innings of work, striking out 8 of the 9 batters she faced.
The game was ended by mercy rule after the top of the 3rd inning with the Flyers leading by 20-runs.
Lindbergh now improves to 5-3 on the young season as they wait to play host to the Hawks of Hillsboro on Wednesday, September 11th at 4:30 PM at Lindbergh High School.
